About the CASCADE-FELLOWS programme

Are you a talented young Experienced Researcher in Life Sciences?

Please note that all posts are now filled and there will be no further funding calls in this programme.

CASCADE-FELLOWS offers exciting career opportunities for young experienced researchers in all areas of Life Sciences. Fellows choose the research topic, location and Host Organisation. You need to show that your work will build European competitiveness, that you have collaborated with your Host Organisation to develop your proposal, and that your host is prepared to support 60% of the costs of your fellowship.

CASCADE-FELLOWS promotes international mobility for young researchers and encourages knowledge exchange between academia and industry. You will work in a collaborative atmosphere that will help you to establish networks in the academic and private sectors, and will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most eminent research organisations in the field. You will develop leadership qualities in interesting environments and we will provide opportunities to learn new techniques and skills.

The programme runs for five years from 31 May 2013. All 25 places are now filled. The fellows from the first two calls are now in post; the third and fourth calls are currently in the process of being appointed by their host organisations.
